Lanarkshire Councils – Remembrance Day Parade

P.G.M. Bro. Bill Perry has asked me to remind you that Freemasons will be represented at the Remembrance Day Parade and Service at Hamilton War Memorial in the Public Park at Bothwell Road, Hamilton. All Brethren are welcome to attend.Whilst no regalia will be worn the P.G.M. particularly invites R.W.M’s. to participate and to wear their chains of office.

Brethren wishing to attend should gather in the former University Car Park area in Bothwell Road at 2.15pm with the Parade marching off at around 2.40pm After the Service the parade will return to the County Buildings where there will be a March Past taken by the Provost.

Following the Parade there will be some hospitality for those taking part in the Council’s Banqueting Hall.

I hope many of your Brethren will take part in what has been an event in which our Lodges have been well represented in recent years.
