Sunday 26th April 2026 – Kiltwalk 2026 “The Final Push”
The final Kiltwalk of PGM Andrew Millar’s Commission was held on Sunday 26th April, although targets were never the aim of the PGM Charity for the 5 years of his Commission, the combined total of “Quarter of a Million Pounds” had a nice ring to it and would be a fitting end to the 5 years. This was the 5th year of the Kiltwalk as part of the Provincial Grand Masters Charity CHAS, (Children’s Hospices Across Scotland), a charity very close to the PGM’s and his families hearts.
Over 130 Brethern, friends and colleagues had a fantastic day, in glorious weather everyone competed across the 3 mile Wee Wander, 14 mile Big Stroll and 23 mile Mighty Stride. All Kilties crossed the line including the full family of RWM Andrew Millar, a very proud moment for them all.
The weather was absolutely ideal for everyone but got warm in the afternoon and required the team to push hard for the finish line, the Kiltwalk has been a source of great encouragement and focus to bring everyone together for their health and wellbeing as well as bringing family and friends together to have a fun day, while generating cash for this fantastic charity.
Well done everyone and thanks to all the supporters in the fundraising effort.
